 Blues Jewellery Company (BJC) recently opened its first flagship store in South Extension, New Delhi. Apart from housing a beautiful range of diamond, and polki and kundan jewellery crafted by in-house designers, BJC also retails jewellery by Hong-Kong brand Entice and luxury brand Opulence.
The mammoth five-storey store has jewellery in a variety of designs which can be worn on any occasion. While the kundan and polki jewellery are traditional and apt for Indian weddings, Opulence designs are classy and sophisticated options for cocktail parties. Nitesh Sehgal, Director of BJC says that the huge store is trying to dispel the concept of having a small-time family jeweller. He says, “We distinguish ourselves through space and the range of jewellery over here with quality and bespoke service for each client. With brands like Entice and Opulence (we have exclusive rights to retail it in New Delhi) in our retail list, our service and quality is unmatchable.” Udit Sehgal, Managing Director of BJC assures that all the diamonds used in their jewellery are certified by the highest authorities. The polki and diamond jewellery is made by traditional kaarigars in Bikaner, Rajasthan to achieve the authentic traditional look. He also says that customized designs and jewellery can be created on demand. |
