Bally presents its Spring Summer 2019 collection
October 16, 2018: Bally, a Swiss luxury fashion brand, presented their Spring Summer 2019 collection, which was a compilation of retro sportswear, inspired by 1970s and 80s colour photo hues, with a modern contemporary spin.
The brand launched their eyewear with first-time eyewear partner Marcolin Group, reflecting laidback ease. The unisex styles juxtapose two very different silhouettes, each evoking a luxe retro cool. An oversized and square acetate frame, almost shield-like, allow for voyeuristic observance while revisited pilots with a geometric reflective lens shade the world in yellow and pink tones.
The womenswear offers quiet confidence and stylish strength. The shoes offer a variety of iconic sandals, pumps and boots. A structured urban city sandal called Otta, channels the retro vintage mood, holding a surprisingly flexible sole. The new Jordy stripe mule reflects Bally’s ribbon heritage and the Alexa family introduces a mod bootie with block heel and flat styles with scored mirrored leather inspired by an archive style from the 1939.
The bags on the other hand, Cecyle – named after C.F. Bally’s wife, comes in diamond shape, with embossed studded leather, resurrected from a 1990s bag in new sizes and shapes catering to all occasions. The new Janelle adjustable cross-body bag in croc print calf skin plays sleek homage to Bally’s iconic Janelle buckle babouche completing the family. The brand has come out with Ready to wear, bags, eyewear, shoes and accessories with a vibe of the 70s and paying homage to all the important personalities of Bally’s life.
