Artline & International Furniture Brands exhibit Indian artists

March 31, 2012: The luxury furniture store, International Furniture Brands, hosted an exhibition of contemporary Indian artists at The Gallery mall in New Delhi. The evening was hosted by Ms Aruna Tara, Director, International Furniture Brands, in association with curator, Ranjana Dani of Artline. Enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were Delhi’s swish set who admired the striking works of four contemporary artists from Pune. The works were displayed from March 30 to April 8, 2012.

This curatorial project showcased a collection of paintings of the highly acclaimed veteran Murli Lahoti, the renowned Bua Shete, Vijay Dupatre and Nilesh Pawar.

Speaking at the preview, Ms Aruna Tara, said, “We are extremely pleased to exhibit the artworks of these talented artists since we see a fit with art as an extension to the luxury furniture and accessories that we retail at our store.” Ms Ranjana Dani of Artline added, “This curatorial project is unique since it brings together four contemporary artists from Pune who are showcasing their works collectively for the first time in Delhi. We are sure art lovers in the city will appreciate the works on display.”
