January 13, 2017: The Indus Club, an uber luxury private members’ business club for the country’s ultra-high net worth individuals, is set to open at One BKC, a commercial tower at the heart of Mumbai’s bustling business district. The brainchild of Mr. Harish Thawani (founder of Nimbus Communications and NEO Sports) the club will open in April 2017. A “By Invitation Only” club, membership is open for promoters and CXO’s of respected companies, creative leaders from advertising, TV, motion pictures, and other eminent and acclaimed professionals.

Spread across 20,000 sq ft, The Indus Club hopes to facilitate members in executing their latest mergers, conduct business meetings, host events, unwind and socialize with like minded individuals - all under one roof.

The Indus Club includes fully appointed meeting rooms with one-touch video conferencing, private offices and smart work stations, private dining rooms and a 32 seater multipurpose auditorium to conduct seminars and workshops. The club even offers secretarial support and preferential rates to their members for booking private jets, choppers and yachts.
 
The club has a variety of leisure amenities ranging from an all-day Café with a wide range of local and international cuisines and a contemporary fine-dining restaurant. Also, members can take their associates and friends to the Bar and Cigar Room – a stylized lounge with a premium selection of spirits and cigars. Additionally, members enjoy access to a host of social events ranging from champagne movie premiers, to talks by industry leaders & opinion makers, musical performances by renowned artists, stand-up comedy acts and different food festivals.
 
Members can also work out in a personalized workout at the club’s fitness centre and avail personal care services that include a boutique spa. The club also offers a one-of-a-kind indoor golf simulator – Full Swing Golf - that has state of the art ball tracking, top championship courses. Members will also have access to personalized sessions with a Coach to sharpen up their game.

The club plans to enroll a total of 800-1000 members of which 120 have already signed up. Membership, which will be by invitation and referral only, is priced at Rs. Ten Lakhs for 20 years and is transferable. There is also an early bird - introductory offer of Rs 6-7.5 lakhs that is available. The business has plans to expand to New Delhi, Bengaluru as well as to Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and to international cities with a large Indian diaspora including Dubai, Singapore, New York and others.
 
The Indus Club will also feature reciprocal membership facilities and being a member will allow you to enjoy the privileges of private member clubs worldwide in cities including Dubai, Singapore, New York, San Francisco, Brussels, London and others. Tie-ups with Tower Club in Singapore, St. James Club in London and The Griffin Club in Los Angeles are already in place.
